Clearly Pakistan is helping both sides. In my opinion, Pakistan is America’s enemy because they harbor terrorists and refuse to be proactive in their effort to help us kill terrorists along their own border. Would you agree?

Regardless of whether you agree with the above statement, it is a fact that if you turn on the news, Pakistan is portrayed as an ally in America’s war in Afghanistan.

If they were really helping us, they would let us operate freely in Pakistani territory.

If they were really helping us, there would be no issue of “hot pursuit” because Pakistani troops would be on the other side of the border killing each and every terrorist that crosses the border.

If they were really helping us, American and Pakistani troops would be fighting side by side clearing out every mountain-side cave.

I hated George W. Bush for many reasons, but he was right when he said “either you are with us, or against us.” America needs to pressure Pakistan to pick sides. Pakistan helping both sides ensures that we will never achieve thorough and decisive victory in Afghanistan.

I know Pakistan has nuclear weapons. My response is: SO WHAT. We have nuclear weapons too, and last time I checked, Pakistani missiles carrying nuclear warheads do not have the range to hit American soil, but please correct me if I’m wrong.
No one is saying there is no grey area. I’m just saying people are making this issue more complicated than it needs to be.

Using finesse is a choice.
