1. Pakistan was for the creation of all muslims on the land of todays Pakistan after independance from the british raj.
2. If pashtuns wanted their land to be Afghan, it would be. Pathans are only an ethnic group, not a country, but muslims and thus Pakistanis as long as they are on Pakistani soil.
