What is your favorite Christmas cookie and why?

Just wondering as mine is the sugar cookie. My grandma use to make them every Christmas. She has been gone for over 16 years now and I miss her tremendously. I always make them at Christmas in honor of her.

Chocolate chip with walnuts. It’s a staple for us. We just made some sugar cookies today and iced them. We then hung them on our cookie tree. I love it!

My mom and I make Norwegian cookies called kringlas every Christmas, which are special to me because my grandma used to make them with us before she died. Those are my favorite, for that reason. I also love those frosted sugar cookies!
That’s really sweet about your grandma. It sounds like you two had a great relationship!

    :D
