On Christmas you know, you get presents. People ask you what you want I say “Oh nothing”. The of course they get you something. But then right after christmas is my birthday and they ask me the same thing and I reply the same. But when I get all this stuff in 4 days I feel like such a brat, just hogging all of these presents and stuff.
Why do I feel this way?
How can I stop it?
well, you can’t exactly change your birthday haha, but you could ask your family if maybe you could celebrate it another time so all the presents don’t come rushing in at one time?
my birthday is right after the holidays also
so i usually don’t expect to get much for my birthday since i already got christmas gifts
when people ask me what i want for my birthday i try to tell them nothing and if they insist on something i usually just say a stuffed animal.
i usually don’t want anything for my birthday because christmas just pasted.
you can’t really stop a person from giving you something so if they do give you something just say thank you
your not hogging all the presents, they are getting it for you because they want to, so you will have a bday present
you probably feel this way because you just got christmas gifts and now it’s your bday right after and your getting more gifts
but really don’t feel bad just be happy it’s always great to be happy

Christmas makes everyone greedy.
My parents let me order what ever I want, needless to say , 4 hours of continuous online shopping and $502 later, I wanted a World Vision Child. I think that every year, you can get presents, but give back.. Get a World Vision Child, Serve food to the poor..
It’s a natural thing, greed-ness, lol, we have to learn to live with it.
well ur like 14 which is very common for our age……it is okay to want presents just have limits….plus christmas and bdays are the perfect time for presents….dont fight it!!
